We are a locally owned family run motel in Dillon which is in SW Montana in Beaverhead County. Our town is known for its amazing hunting, fishing and recreational activities. We have Bannack State Park, the Big Hole Battlefield and Crystal Park which brings a lot of tourists to our town. We have one of the nicest 9 hole public golf courses in the state of Montana. In the winter, there is a very nice and affordable ski hill called Maverick Mountain.

The absolute perfect place to stop for cheap. It's a motel, don't expect a five star resort. Do expect incredible hospitality, clean rooms, a comfy bed, an awesome mountain goat taxidermy in the lobby, and a small breakfast of Coffee, Sunny D, bagels and English muffins.

I give Sundowner 5 Stars for a "cheap motel." If you need a comfortable clean bed and a nice hot shower in the morning and don't want to spend a lot of money, this place earned 5 stars in my opinion. The friendly, helpful owners obviously work very hard to keep the place up, and really seem to care that their guests have a good stay at their motel. There's a McDonald's about a quarter of a mile away. The owners have coffee in bagels and English muffins in the office as well. I would definitely stay here again if I'm passing through Dillon.
